What happens if you get Multiple DUIs?

If you are arrested for the second, third, or subsequent time due to a driving while intoxicated offense, you could be in serious trouble. The 2nd offense is classified as a Class A misdemeanor, while the subsequent offenses are aggravated offenses. An experienced lawyer in Illinois may help reduce the effects of the multiple driving under influence or assist in the dismissal of the charges.

Without the legal representation of a defense attorney, you may risk many years in prison and hefty charges. The multiple drunk driving charges may also remain on your criminal record for years.
